Phonique

Over the past 15 years, Berlin based artist Phonique has become one of the best House-DJs around. Enrooted in the exploding musical Berlin-underground of the 90ies he emerged as a much in demand DJ, producer and labelowner. He's got a fine sense for the dancefloor and a deep knowledge about House music and far beyond.

As a producer he released almost 40 singles on labels like Brique Rouge, Moodmusic, Simple, Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground, Tiefschwarz' Souvenir, Poker Flat and Dessous. His much acclaimed debut-album "identification" has been released in 2004 on Dessous Recordings and the second longplayer "Good Idea" followed in 2007. Phonique also runs his own label "Ladies And Gentlemen" for well selected discoid, but still underground sounds of House with pop-appeal and a special touch of je-ne-sais-quoi.

In late 2008 he was acknowledged as "Best Deep House DJ" in the Ibiza DJ awards and as "Best Deep House Artist" by Beatport.

Poker Flat / Dessous Labelnight @ Kazantip 2010

Poker Flat / Dessous Labelnight with Vincenzo, Phonique, support by Toblight & Dabrink August 12th / 01-08h / Kazantip - Popovka - Ukraine If you want to escape reality, follow us to Kazantip! KaZantip (also simply known as "Z") is situated at the shore line of the Black Sea.It takes place for 4-5 weeks in the summer and has more than 150,000 "paradiZers" visits each year. The festival is named after the Kazantyp headland where it was held from 1995-1999. During that time the festival took place inside a turbine compartment of the unfinished Crimean Nuclear Power Plant. Since 2001 the festival has been held in the Crimean town Popovka. It advertises itself as a "virtual republic" with more than 300 DJ's on ten dance floors which play 21 hours per day. This year the event will take place from July 31st through August 21st. Phonique has won the Ibiza DJ Award 2008

After beeing nominated and winning the "Beatport Award 2008" category "Best Deep House" Phonique now adds insult to injury: He has won the "Ibiza DJ Award 2008" as "Best Deep House DJ 2008! What a success! Thank all you guys who supported him and check out his dates, maybe you can hear him playing in your town soon!
